The P.L.E.A.S.E.^® is extremely flexible in number and depth of the micropores allowing to fine-tune a drug dose. Clinical data show no thermal damage of the skin layers adjacent to the micropore. Therefore, drug diffusion to deeper layers and finally to the blood capillaries where absorption takes place is not hindered.
